If you want to know why there are still so many poor in the slums, oppressed trapped in factories/brothels, and marginalized stuck on the the streets around the world----its because for far too long, the most wealthy and resourceful church on earth-the american one-has devalued the person of the Holy Spirit and the place of intimacy with God in the human life. If it was to be corrected, Gods heart could be manifested on earth and consequently the poor would be empowered, the oppressed would be freed, and the marginalized understood.

i just started reading Madame Guyon's "Experiencing the Depths of Christ" yesterday. This thought mirrors one of the paragraphs in her book that really struck me. i kept reading it over and over. i couldn't get enough of it. i wanted it to be as real to me as it was to her. LOVE CONQUERS ALL! do we really have a any clue how huge that is? whatis really means to conquer all darkness and oppression. if the church will FULLY give it's heart over and and grasp the truth of true intimacy of perfect love, and through perfect love, perfect union with the trinity, what then of oppression? it would be under our feet and the feet of those we lay hands on! darkness and sickness will flee! love conquers all! God conquers all! throught intimacy with Him he will conquer all darkness through us. the anointing we will walk in in those days will like none we've ever known. it will happen! i believe!
Preach on brother- PREACH! I heard a sermon this summer from Mark 6:37- looking at how the disciples said "what are we going to do with all these people? let's send them away..." and Jesus replies- no YOU give them something to eat!
That's why we're here- to be the hands and feet. That they would know Him by the way we love them.
